There are so many fun ways to get involved with wrestling. The easiest way to gain experience and learn some of the basic techniques is to join a team, or take a wrestling class. This will allow you to wrestle different opponents and learn different moves to enhance your skills. There are a variety of club teams, as well as informational sessions, throughout the country to enroll in. Both competitive and non-competitive options are available.
 
Wrestling skills and overall fitness can be gained through cross training. Endurance, strength and flexibility can all be enhanced through regular workouts. Weight lifting, running, endurance training, etc. can make you a more competitive wrestler. In addition to general exercise and strength training, adding other forms of martial arts can enhance your wrestling technique and make you more competitive.
