You may not think it, but water skiing can actually give you a great workout. Your thighs and core muscles will get a workout from your attempts to remain standing while in motion.Water skiing doesn’t involve much cardio work, oWater skiing can be enjoyed and performed by pretty much anyone who can swim safely on their own and has access to the beach. Young children and even some adults will have difficulty at first being able to stand up on the water skis. With younger children and inexperienced skiers, you want to make sure that you are traveling at a lower speed just so they can get that hang of it.

The most important lesson you need to remember is to let go of the rope when you fall; otherwise, you’ll be dragged through the water behind the boat, which can really hurt. It’s always a good idea to have an instructor give you your first lesson as a water skier and to make sure there are lifeguards on duty nearby.
