One great part about walking is that it doesn’t require much attention, so you can multi-task and keep yourself entertained. If you keep yourself busy while you walk, you won’t even notice you are exercising! There are so many ways to do this. 

One great way is to listen to music. This will keep you entertained and get you in the zone! You can even try walking to the beat of the song. Another way you can make walking more exciting is to switch up your routine. Try power walking for small intervals, walk different routes, or going up stairs or hills. Try to increase your distance each week, or grab some weights and hold them while you walk. This will help work out your muscles and jazz up your routine.

You can even bring a friend with you and talk while you walk. Try walking at places with beautiful scenery, like a park, a city, or a beach. Walking can even be incorporated into your normal daily routine. Try taking a longer route to work, or take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk on vacation, or any other time you have the chance. It really will help you stay fit!
