Dessert can be healthy, believe it or not - give these pears a whirl!
4 firm ripe pears
¼ cup unsweetened orange juice
3 tbsp. orange marmalade
2 tbsp. vanilla wafer crumbs
2 tbsp. chopped almonds
½ cup fat-free plain yogurt
Move oven rack to lowest position; heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray pie plate with nonstick cooking spray. Carefully peel pears, leaving stems attached, and place on large plate. Mix orange juice and orange marmalade; spoon over pears.
Mix wafer crumbs and almonds, rolling pears in mixture. Stand pears upright in pie plate. Mix yogurt and remaining sauce, refrigerate. Bake pears 35 minutes or until tender when pierced with fork. Serve warm with sauce.
